The Black Brass holder is hand-cast from pure brass by a 100-year-old Japanese foundry. Each one is then stoned, polished and bathed in a traditional Japanese mixture by a father & son using a metal colouring technique developed in the Edo period for samurai swords. The beautiful deep black is a natural patina brought out using this ancient technique.

Weighted and with two incense wells - one for Japanese style incense and one for Indian style incense.
