CLO Studios Guide to Noosa ← Newer Older → ← Newer Older → In the northern reaches of the Sunshine Coast rests Noosa, a tranquil enclave where verdant forests meet sparkling blue waters – a paradise to visit and a place CLO is lucky to call home. Discover Noosa through the eyes of CLO Studios Founder and Noosa local, Chloe Tozer, as she shares her hometown favourites with The Pleasure of Leisure, serenely captured through the lens of Anna Pihan. An excerpt from The Pleasure of Leisure’s Noosa Travel Guide. Interview and photography by Anna Pihan. Tell me about your connection to Noosa and have you always called Noosa home? I have been lucky enough to call Noosa home since I was two years old. It’s always been a beautiful place to live and since starting CLO Studios 8 years ago, the perfect home for my work. CLO Studios is a furniture and lifestyle brand, we design our collections in house, and source treasures from around the world. Our CLO boutique, located in Noosa Junction invites you to discover our world. Noosa allows us to live a balanced lifestyle and makes it easy to come home after our travels. Noosa in 3 words... Heaven on Earth. Favourite time in Noosa? Winter… If you can call it that. The nights are cool and the days are warm. The open beaches are like glass, there are less crowds and no wind. It’s a truly magical time of year in Noosa. How do you like to spend your leisure time in Noosa? Days at home cooking, pickling and in the garden. Always starting with an ocean swim. In what way is leisure time important for your creativity? Having time to allow my creative mind to run free is everything. For me, days spent at home surrounded by all my books and treasures is the most inspiring space for creativity. Weeks are spent balancing time at home creating and days in the studio collaborating with my team. Is there something or somewhere that’s unique to Noosa? Noosa is all about natural beauty. We are so lucky to be wrapped by the most stunning coastline and national parks that have been preserved to enjoy in all their beauty. Noosa National Park is a special place. For a Saturday morning adventure we love going to the Yandina Markets for fresh fruit and vegetables and they also sell the best plants from local growers. What’s in your carry-on? A sketch book! I always feel creative during transit. A place you are dreaming of visiting? India — I have never been and feel a gravitational pull to visit. I can’t wait to learn more about their culture and craft. I’m also interested in learning more about Ayurvedic medicine. Chloe's Noosa Favourites Swim spot... Tea Tree Bay in Noosa National Park.
