In celebration of the unveiling of the Noosa Junctions latest street mural by Shauna Hill, CLO Studios are thrilled to announce Judabeel by Indigenous artist Shauna Hill.
In honour of her Gubbi Gubbi and Githibul heritage, the artworks depict stories of the Sunshine Coast, her family, and her home. An exclusive release of 8 contemporary paintings will be available on our website.
Shauna first found her talent for painting and drawing at a very young age, beginning with cartooning and soon moving on to portraits and landscapes.
Shauna’s obsession turned into a career as a full-time artist after an inspiring placement at Deadly Espresso and Peregian Digital Hub which led to commissions from Cricket Australia, Earth Tech and BioPak.
“My big cousin Brent, he did a painting and I thought it was the most beautiful thing I’d ever seen, I was like, ‘Oh I need to give that a go. I’d always had an interest in it because of the cultural side but I never really thought to try it myself. As soon as I started doing it, I was obsessed.” — Shauna Hill
